Virginia Rush looks to be getting kicked out of the USSDA.

Maybe Rush can work something out with the other club these kids reference and avert disaster? Who knows?

That's just another team that couldn't compete with the best non-ECNL teams in VA.

It's nice to have excess money laying around. How many of their U17's made it to the college level? Just saying . . .

Kicked out of both. Stinks for the kids.

Poor leadership blames everybody but themselves which is typical today.

Preached how important the ECNL was for years. Now they want us to believe that the ECNL is not important. Ridiculous. Can't have it both ways.

"They wanted us to try a merger," Rush coach James Hoffman said. "We wanted to merge with the other predominant club in the area, but these efforts didn't come to fruition.

"As a result, we will not be affiliated with Academy next year."

Whoever runs that club isn't thinking clearly. The past 2 years on the girls side they have had their top teams play in the Presidents cup which is a stated 2nd tier competition. The past 2 years they have won the Virginia state and Region 1 competition.

According to their website their Executive Director is Denise Edwards. She is also the VYSA President. She lets their top team play in the presidents cup and not the state cup? Seriously??? That is a terrible reflection on the VYSA and the RUSH organization.

If she didn't make the decisions to do that, she really needs to reign in who did because he/she reflects poorly on their club.
