Girls U12 NH State Cup Tournament Pairings/Seedings?

Does anyone know how they determine the pairings or seeding for this tournament? The brackets do not look balanced at the U12 Girls level. The eight teams play in 4 different leagues/divisions. They are listed in order of league strength and approximate team strength. They ended up placing arguably the top 3 teams in one bracket. At the very least, NHPSA Classics and Seacoast - RT should be in opposite brackets as they are clearly the superior teams.

This is what I would have proposed, which includes taking one team from each league/division. It also avoids having all Seacoast teams or all NHPSA teams in same division.

The brackets that the poster list make sense. Why not have one representative from each league placed into the brackets. Seems to make sense.

So does anyone know how they come up with the seedings? For this age group or any of the others? If there wasn't much thought put into this bracket seems like others would have similar issues.

Bad luck of the draw, nhsa has no foresight into anything soccer.

They pull them randomly, that is why balance never appears

If that is the case, seems like a little extra thought and organization by NHSA would go a long way to making the State Cup experience more equitable and enjoyable for everyone.

Slightly off topic, but why are so few teams entered? It seems like several of the divisions only have Seacoast and NHPSA teams. Is there really no chance for any of the town teams, even at the younger ages?

The issue would come up of tampering...Since most of the folks involved are affiliated with clubs, it could be seen as stacking the deck for thier teams!

It is expensive and the local clubs do not want to lay out the money to get hammered by NHPSA, Seacoast or WC.

I guess reading comprehension is not your strong suit! The poster was explaining how it works and why. How is that NHPSA crying? These rules were around long before NHPSA.

Yes, World Cup did receive the most favorable draw. I guess that is ok if brackets were picked randomly as a previous poster suggested (stated). Or is that just an assumption?

In bracket play they avoid the three teams that are arguably better than them. They will end up playing NHPSA or Seacoast in the semi-finals. That will be a tall order for World Cup.
