    Raleigh Shootout 16B

Renegades 16B from Florida say on their website they have been invited to Shootout and imply CASL is providing housing, but team is not on list of acceptances. Has an accepted team dropped out and been replaced with this Florida R3PL team?

    Who is better team? Brandon-Renegades?

We have to play both this weekend. What is the style of play of each one?
We beat GSC 3-0 on Sat. & CASL 1-0 on Sun. How do Fla. teams compare
    to CASL/GSC??

My sources have informed me that the Renegades were invited by CASL during Premier league and were waiiting on paper work. Players will be housed by the CASL team.

The faster team is the Renegades. Speed of play is very fast. Every player is good and the bench is deep. A more South American approach to the game and one look at the team will tell you why. Their website is not updated as there are players I saw that are not pictured. Size wise they range from "hugh" to "you have to be kidding" (small). Brandon has two extremely talented players. Number 13 their forward and number 10 who passes to him. If you shut down one or the other then they will have a hard time. Brandon is a strong team but not as complete. Both goalies are capable of big saves. The Renegade goalie is hugh but both are very good.

Renegades play fast and furious, an exciting team to watch but lacks control. Don't turn your back on them because you will surely get "smacked" or kicked. They use every opportunity to have an advantage. Most players are hispanic and their style of play is Argentinian. The Goalie is great on the upper part of the goal, but keep your goals low and your in business. Brandon on the hand plays 'hot and cold". Sometimes they play like national champions and other times they are absolutely lousy. They are the State Champions but many believe they are undeserving. Their goalie is a National Goalie (U-16) who makes fantastic saves in almost every game. Their forward #13 is amazingly fast. This kid last year scored between league and tournaments games, a total of 130 goals. Recently against the Renagages, #13 dribbled around five defensive players and slammed the ball into the net. They also have a defensive player that has a wicked flip throw, 30-40 yards out and usually puts the ball right in front of the goalie. All in all your team is in for a treat with both Florida teams.

I hear you boys met Alex..... I mean #13. Good try on attempting to keep him under control with three players on him. He still scored 2 goals against each one. Be thankful; He usually scores more. Better luck next time.

Goalie may be a national tam player but Brandon has had 12 goals scored against them in Premier league. Not exactely a great result.
