Over the course of the last few weeks we have been experiencing some technical difficulties (Server Timeouts, Double Posts, higher automated spam posts and etc.). Because of these symptoms we are forced to upgrade the server and website now before the site hits it's peak traffic season (Tryout Time).

Beginning (5/2/2008) we will be redirecting our site to another domain (talking-soccer.net) which is running an upgraded version of the board software we use and sits on a dedicated server designed to handle such a large message board. A complete back-up of the data was done early this morning (5/2/08 at 12:05am) and was converted to the new format and pushed to the new live production server. Any posts in between (5/2/2008 at 12:05am to 11:55pm) on the old (.com) site will NOT be present on the new board. All other posts, user accounts and etc. should be accounted for. Once the transition has been made to the new server, it will be a week or so before we point the .com address to the new server. Then both will run concurrently together sharing the same database.

We have been testing the new board and server for a while now (anticipating the move) and most of the bugs in the conversion process have been worked out. But, as with any upgrade or move, their is bound to be a few glitches or things missing when it hits the real world testing.
